Youth Mental Health

Your Mental Health Matters!

Mental Health is recognized as a prevalent issue in Guyana, especially among youths. The Youth Mental Health project aims to provide psychological and mental health support to the youths of Guyana through a number of social activities.

Youth Mental Health Projects:

  • Empowerment Sessions

With the use of Virtual Platforms such as Google Meet, Zoom, etc. - short, interactive sessions can be facilitated to educate and empower the population, especially children and youths on important issues and existing coping mechanisms.

  • Youth Development Workshops

With schools reopening to face to face learning, it is important to engage youths in face to face activities. This activity targets youths within underprivileged communities in various regions, with the aim of offering capacity building training through face to face workshops.

  • Mentorship and Career Guidance

Most students are often anxiously trying to navigate their way through secondary and tertiary education. By offering one on one counseling, we can help students to enjoy a more smooth transition from secondary and tertiary education.
